The President
The White House
Washington, DC 20500
Dear Mr. President:
By this letter, I tender my resignation as Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission, effective August 1, 2003.
It has been a great privilege to serve on the Commission for nearly 6 years. My colleagues, present and former, including your appointee, Chairman Muris, are individuals of dedication and fairness, who reflect a mutual desire to serve American consumers and protect markets from anti-competitive practices. I am honored to have played a part in these important missions.
Respectfully,
Sheila F. Anthony
Commissioner
