Commission authorization of filing of amended complaint: The Commission has authorized the staff to file an amended complaint in the matter currently pending against Cleverlink Trading Limited, et al. The Commission’s original complaint in this matter, announced on May 26, 2005, alleged the defendants deceptively spammed millions of consumers with graphic sexual descriptions to drive traffic to their Web sites to “date lonely housewives.” In filing the amended complaint, the Commission has added Oceanic Services, LLC, and Colin H. Sholes as relief defendants in this matter.
