As part of a federal/state law enforcement initiative, there will be a joint press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at 1 p.m., Pacific Standard Time to announce an effort to crack down on mortgage-related scams. U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz, U.S. Assistant Attorney General Tony West, Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, and Marietta Rodriguez of NeighborWorks America, will be available to answer reporters’ questions.
