The Federal Trade Commission submitted to Congress its Fiscal Year 2021 budget request, in support of the President’s FY 2021 budget for the federal government. The budget request also includes the FY 2021 Budget Overview Statement, Performance Plan for FY 2020 and FY 2021, and Performance Report for FY 2019, as required under the Government Performance and Results and Modernization Act of 2010.
The Commission vote to submit the budget request, performance plan and performance report to Congress was 4-1. Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter voted no and issued a separate statement. (FTC File No P859900; the staff contact James Hale, Financial Management Office, 202-326-2385.)
The agency has also published its FY 2018-2022 Strategic Plan, which is the FTC’s roadmap of goals, objectives and strategies that will guide the agency’s work over the next four years. This plan serves as the basis for reporting the agency’s performance results.
