Event Description
COVID-19 has led to a variety of consumer protection issues, and the pandemic continues to have a large financial impact on people in every community. To help people find accurate and reliable information in their communities, the Bureau of Consumer Protection is hosting a virtual listen and learn session with legal services organizations, consumer advocates, state and local law enforcement, and other community groups. Participants will discuss the consumer and financial issues that people in DC, Maryland, and Virginia are facing, how groups are reaching their audiences during the pandemic, and FTC and other helpful resources.
