FTC sends payments to people who paid for real estate investment coaching programs

The FTC is sending payments totaling more than $12 million to 25,563 customers who paid Zurixx for deceptive real estate investment coaching programs.

The FTC and the Utah Department of Commerce Division of Consumer Protection sued Zurixx and its owners alleging that the company used false promises to sell real estate investment training and coaching programs. To settle the lawsuit, the defendants agreed to pay money and to be banned from selling these programs in the future.
