The Commission has received an application for divestiture from the following: Lafarge S.A./Blue Circle Industries PLC; Blue Circle North America Inc.; and Blue Circle Inc. (Lafarge). Through this application, and pursuant to the terms of the consent order reached with the Commission, Lafarge has requested FTC approval of the proposed divestiture of Blue Circle's Lime Assets to Peak Investments L.L.C. The application will be subject to public comment until November 13, 2001, after which the Commission will vote on whether to approve it.
