FTC sends refunds to people who were charged for unwanted subscriptions
The FTC is sending checks to people who were charged by NutraClick for unwanted memberships.
The FTC originally entered into a settlement with NutraClick in 2016, when the FTC alleged NutraClick automatically enrolled people in unwanted membership programs for supplements and beauty products. In 2020, the FTC again filed a complaint against NutraClick when it found that the company misled people about when they had to cancel their trial memberships to avoid monthly charges. The FTC alleged that NutraClick’s deceptive marketing violated federal law and the previous court order.
The FTC first sent payments in January 2023, which resulted in more than $635,000 in refunds. Now, the FTC is sending payments to NutraClick customers who didn’t already get a payment.
If you get a check, please cash it within 60 days.
