The Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice today announced times, location, and participants for the July 10 and July 11, 2002 sessions in their joint hearings on "Competition and Intellectual Property Law and Policy in the Knowledge-Based Economy." These sessions will explore the jurisprudence of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, including substantive trends and analysis, the Court's jurisdiction, and its choice of law decisions. The general public and press are invited to attend. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Written comments from interested parties may be submitted to the FTC.
