Under 16 CFR Part 1, Subpart U (§§ 1.150 to 1.152), the Commission reviews and approves the Authority’s proposed annual budget, after publishing the proposed budget in the Federal Register and inviting public comment.  The Authority must submit its proposed budget each year by August 1, and the Commission will vote on the Authority’s proposed budget by November 1, or as soon thereafter as practicable.
